If your going with a Nvidia product then EVGA is the way to go, they have the best customer service and their cards are always great.

I only buy EVGA cards for my builds. I have no idea where you heard that their customer service is not good. Also EVGA card will be generally more expensive then other ones because of their warranty.

As for the cards themselves, they are basically the same. The GTS 250 has 3.0 OpenGL as apposed to the 9800 GTX+ 2.1 OpenGL

I would go with the EVGA card personally.

You can check the Nvidia website for their specs:

9800 GTX+: http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9800_gtx_plus_us.html
References :
XFX GTS250 GDDR3 512MB PCI Express x16 2.0

personally, i prefer the XFX series over every video card, ive never burnt out a XVX brand video card which is rare cuz im on my PC 24/7 NewEgg is a really good site. Ive used it on MANY occasions. But considering the Graphics cards u want, it looks like u are into P.C gaming
Check out this site:
www.ibuypower.com
AMAZING Site i 100% reccomened it to ANY gamers There are a WIDE variety of build options ranging from 400$ - +2000$ depending on your budget. Even the 400$ P.C is a BEAST. You build your computer, i think its the best site on the web,
Enjoy!
