I only buy EVGA cards for my builds. I have no idea where you heard that their customer service is not good. Also EVGA card will be generally more expensive then other ones because of their warranty. As for the cards themselves, they are basically the same. The GTS 250 has 3.0 OpenGL as apposed to the 9800 GTX+ 2.1 OpenGL I would go with the EVGA card personally.
