Herbal Essences o Hydration Product Review

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to try out a few conditioners for co-washing. Due to the conditioner I usually use is discontinued. Which is the original Creme of Nature Nourishing Condtioner (w/ purple label in white bottle). However I did find five bottles over the weekend but once their gone I will have to start using another product. So I checked online and found a few video reviews and a few written reviews on the Herbal Essences o Hydration and the Totally Twisted conditioner which was said to be a good co-wash conditioner for my hair type (4b/4c). As is turns out…. Yes it works for me. The o Hydration that is. I am now in the process of testing the Totally Twisted. But the o Hydration is very moisturizing. It left my hair soft with no build up or film on my hair and my hair was easy to detangle. I tested the product 7days before making a review vid. I found out that the product has to have time to work on the hair. A one time use will not suffice. The product must be allow time to work on the hair. About three days will do.

ok i just brought the shampoo and conditioner i use the shampoo omfg it left it realy dry i mean realy dry but the condition realy made it soft i give the shampoo no star and conditionner 5 star nessuse does better

Hi MACbrownieBombshell,
This conditioner is a really good conditioner. However I have not had the opportunity to use it on relaxed hair, only on natural hair. You may want to consult your stylist being that I do not know the condition of you hair.
When I was relaxed I used Motions CPR that is a really good product for relaxed hair.

I have a bottle of the Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural for Women of Color from when my hair was relaxed and I am definately going to use it. Thanks for the heads up. I also read some really great reviews about this conditioner being a great co-wash conditioner. Happy you are lovin your co-washing, it is the business.

Girl you are GORGEOUS and your hair is HOT! I like how you coordinated your colors with the HEHH bottle :o). I am currently giving HEHH a try and I LOVE it. My top one is Pantene Pro-V Relaxed & Natural for Women of Color as my co-wash condish and I use Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in Conditioning Repair Cream for my leave in and that makes my curls pop like WHAT!!! I have been natural for MANY years, but am about 2 months into the co-wash process and I love it!

I use it for co washing, meaning I wash my hair with the conditioner instead of shampoo. Rinse it out then proceed with my leave in conditioner and Africa’s Best Curl Keeper.

I just finished using the Totally Twisted and I like it better than the o Hydration. I could not believe how much better it works. Now as for my next day hair it was a hott mess…lol. That was a great deal .39 wow, now that is a deal.

I’ve tried this product and had a bad experience….they should name this product o dehydation…..it left my hair extremely dry and knotted…i give it 1/5 just because it has a nice smell and d bottle is cute
